I have been fortunate to be a professional photographer for the past 20 years. Growing up I wasn’t particularly academic but instead loved sport, the outdoors and doing anything creative, be it drawing, painting or making things, you get the idea.

It was after backpacking around Australia and NZ that my life changed. I found myself in the Netherlands working as an event photographer and found that I had an instant love and talent for taking photographs.

Since then I have studied photography and gained much experience working for daily newspapers and agencies winning numerous awards along the way before setting up my own photography business. I am now an experienced wedding and event photographer covering the whole of the UK. I love the challenge every photography assignment presents and the opportunity to be creative.

I consider it a huge honour to be chosen to photograph a wedding day and never take my job for granted!

People often ask me why I’m a wedding photographer and the answer is simple. There is no other workplace where you’re surrounded by love, beauty, happiness and joy every time you go to work……and you get free cake!
